If I had to guess, it's probably more that they realize that they shouldn't have graded these, especially with a universal label, but they need to protect the integrity of their brand, so they're trying to craft a response that does that, but would also be more acceptable to the community than the false starts they offered up earlier in the thread.

I imagine they’re still trying to decide if they should respond before or after the upcoming show.    The internet is a cruel mistress.  I’m not sure what to expect this weekend.

Any of the hypocritical hemorrhoids in here still want to climb on their mountain of CGC graded books and gritch about WATA game grading? lol

I'm still trying to figure out how Heritage wasn't involved in this latest grade-fixing scandal?

Read on!

(Note: because I’m a lawyer, I stopped short of outright stating he used the $3M in embezzled funds to buy Gonk droids, but the implication is there, right?!)

Oh good lord, the poo gets deeper and deeper.

This was a question I've had from the beginning.  What the hell is Infinite Black Publishing and why was it on the acetate?  Per the article and elsewhere, it sounds like a joint venture between Clayton and Black Flag.  I also have to imagine there are legal complications with another publisher putting their name on a Marvel book without Marvel's permission.  At this point, I'm ready to find Clayton just as complicit in all of this.

Speaking of which, here's something fun:

So who's going to Fan Expo Boston tomorrow?

What's most concerning, though, is that it took 100 pages for us to get our first "tree fiddy" joke.  For shame, people!  For shame...  :taptaptap:

I have a concert tomorrow and had not planned on going this weekend, but I may have to take a ride up to Boston on Sat. or Sunday

I believe he's talking about the original retailer facsimile Crain cover before the acetate was added?

Nope.

Explain how they got 1 x 10, 3 x 9.9 etc etc from 10 books (or whatever it was) when the original book - ULTIMATE FALLOUT #4 - had exactly 0 in 10.0 and 0 in 9.9 - out of OVER 14,000 BOOKS.
