I may do that I am waiting on one more piece to get completed (which may take awhile) that also has a graveyard theme that I was thinking I would put into it's own gallery. I'll have to remember to drop you a line when that happens!

I'd been looking at this piece well over a year on Ebay - i just kept coming back to it every few months, always seeming to find something new to look at in the illustration. So I shot a pretty decent offer to the seller and got it! I'm not a huge Flash Gordon fan, but I really liked the GGA and sci-fi elements of this piece, but the real selling point for me was that it's on 15"x20" board. It's a massive illustration, and Rafael Ruiz has an interesting style that falls somewhere between a comic book technique and traditional illustration. This was published as a pin-up in the 1994 San Diego Comic-con program book (page 56).

Had these for about 18 years. Was a fan of Luke Ross’s work on the early issues of Jonah Hex. Pencils only but his line work is incredible.

My fav too, altho I guess you can't help what you grow up on. But those were prime years with those Silvestri/Green and Claremont.

Frame opening pics added.  Attached lightly with two pieces of framer's adhesive cloth hinge on reverse of mat.
