Picked up a really neat Finch page from Cyberforce #25 from 1996 - loaded with characters, evocative shading, crazy power emanations, emotional expressions and interesting panel borders. I'd been pining away for a Finch piece - I was happy to have gotten one of his pages from early in his career.

I love me a good origin recap page, and here's a great one I just picked up ... from West Coast Avengers #45, a recap of the origin of Wonder Man by John Byrne/Mike Machlan! Getting a good Wondy page has been high on my collecting list for awhile, and scoring this one done by Byrne makes achieving that goal even more satisfying.

Happy Labor Day weekend!  Proud to add this DC Super Heroes Poster Book Wraparound Cover (1978) by Neal Adams and D-ck Giordano.   Many of DC's most popular heroes plus a few villains drawn on oversized 26" x 19" board.

Paul Smith! The epitome of right place right time. 
I’ve wanted a Paul sketch for awhile but never was quick enough to respond.

last week, 11pm, on Comic Art Tracker I notice he’s on the top of the page.  I quickly go to his site and there are 3 drawings unsold.

I make a snap judgement (but easy for me as I LOVE Silver Age Marvel) and picked up this.
 

So stoked to add this to the collection!

If you've been reading the new Moon Knight series, then you're probably familiar with the Italian artist, Alessandro Cappuccio who has done some incredible work on the title. When I saw the previews I knew I had to add an example of his work on the series to my collection.

I ended up paying way way more than I'd planned...

Probably the biggest amount I'd spent on an interior page...

I am not a Batman aficionado by any means, but that has to be one of the coolest Batman title pages I've seen. I love everything about it.

This page wasn't really in my wheelhouse - it's a 90's page by Pat Olliffe and Al Williamson from Untold Tales of Spider-man #18 and while there is no Spidey on the page, I thought the action in the top panel from the bad guy, the balance and typography were actually pretty cool. It's got some moisture wrinkling on the bottom, but nothing that damaged the artwork. Not sure if I got a good, bad or par deal - I figured I couldn't go wrong for $250.
