I recently picked up a GI Joe piece myself. Here is a un-used cover for Snakes Eyes Deadgame #1 by Rob Liefeld. It’s just a tad bit different from the cover he actually decided to publish for the book. Super stoked to own another piece from my favorite artist. He also signed and added his chizel sig at the bottom just like the published OA. The second pic is the actual OA he went with, which I don’t own.

I am a little behind showing my modest new OA acquisitions, but here is a pin up of the main character from Dan Cooney's gangster melodrama The Tommy Gun Dolls, Frankie Broadstreet, I picked up in San Diego in July:

It was the template for the promotional enamel pin so I suppose it counts as "published"? Click on the picture for a somewhat larger scan in my CAF gallery.

After more than 15 years of collecting I was able to acquire this page of Jimmy Corrigan. If I could only keep one page in my entire collection it would be this one...

Anyway thanks to Scott Eder for the great transaction!!! (My first purchase ever was also from his eBay...)

I bought those 3 Hawkman (Hawkworld) pieces by Gil Kane at french auction.

Does anyone know what they were used for ?

They look like a turnaround for a Hawkman action figure or statue but I can't find it.

It might be the model sheets for animation of some sort.

Usually model sheets for animation has a front, side, and, rear profile.

I'm a Kickstarter Superbacker which means I spend way too much money on Kickstarter projects in the Comics section. This is a fact.

It's a matter of opinion as to whether or not a particular purchase is worth it. In my opinion, Mike Kunkel delivers the goods with his books.

In this case the book is Ham and Eggs. It features the story of two brothers in a small town. Think Abbott and Costello and you'll get a bit of the feel for the characters.

Anyway, Ham is short on cash and gets involved with a loan shark and things get dangerously funny.

You can see my Ham and Eggs here: https://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1980991

I like it, they're really cute! It reminds me of the pigs and birds from Angry Birds
