Your first comic?

My very first comic book purchased was ASM #314. That Todd McFarlande art is awesome! Pretty cool that he was born in my home city of Calgary, Alberta!

When I bought #2 some weeks later, my father thought I'd bought the same comic again and initially told me I had to take it back!

Preacher #1, bought the whole run before I knew what I was getting myself into in the comics world, and that was last year.

My first one was Superman #251. It was a 25 cent comic in the days of 15-20 cent comics, but my allowance was 25 cents, so I talked mom and dad into the extra penny for tax and bought the comic. I certainly don't have it anymore, as any comic that got into my hands as a kid was raggedy and coverless within a year or so, as I read them over and over.

First one I can remember strongly is the french copy with DD#34 ( Beetle story !!!) and the TOS #58 IM story !!!!!not exactly sure if they're part of the same book or if that makes two books ... My first US comic book " Wolverine and Kitty Pride mini series #1" !!!!! ( bought all six at once BTW...not on the newstand ...)

Still got them and in pretty good shape considering ...!!!

My first comic was Rom: Spaceknight #1. My first comic that got me started collecting was G.I.Joe: A Real American Hero # 46.

Late 70's at Newbury Comics (the 1st ever) on Newbury St, my first back issue was an ASM 23, I'm pretty sure that's the first time ever spending $20 on a comic book.
