Yes there may be the stain on the back, but the appeal... I bought a CGC 8.0 but it doesn't have this gorgeous registration of the cover as your book does. So removing the resto might mean hacking pieces out of the cover. Financially it might work, but the look of the book would likely deteriorate. Seems to be all over the place. In many of the lower grades (4.0 3.5 2.5 2.0) prices spiked last Summer and then took a serious nose dive (3.5 went for $6800 in Aug).
