ya, but I would like to have the Midtown variant graded and I don't know what condition it'll show up in...

 

In a similar boat. I want a NM+ copy for my collection, in no rush to get it graded. Thing is, with Midtown I usually get bad luck in terms of condition. I'd like to get one solid copy instead of having to resort to replacements/returns for once. Doesn't happen all the time, just that my track record with them is spotty.

 

Seeing as how Wytches has been picked up for the film treatment, when is Image Expo? Another variant for the first issue or a subsequent issue could be in the bag.

I went thru a stack at Midtown to find just four 9.8 worthy, I take the book out of the bag to inspect it before buying their variants. You also have to beware of fingerprints on the back cover.

Read the 1st issue and liked it, also got a order in with forbidden planet for the NYCC variant fingers crossed that comes through (no cancelation email yet like some others) will keep it and send it off if it does.

Agreed. I just have the regular print as a reader and an NYCC variant coming from Dre.

 

I got a bunch of every variant except the CBLDF which is coming. Wonder who the cover artist is on the 2nd print?

Just bugging you. It is a legitimate preview with a few pages of otherwise unpublished material. I was intending to buy some and even the OA until I saw the pages. There just isn't enough there for me personally. The Preview book I use as the standard is the Preacher Preview which has 1st appearances of main characters.

Got to see the CBLDF in my hands...thing of beauty

 

Great book and insane amount of text requests to try and help buy this one at NYCC. I've never seen it before and that was before the movie announcement.

 

Lots of crunches copies (I know that) and Image was not letting people go through bundles after it became a madhouse. Which I can't blame them.

 

Congrats to Image...looks like a WINNER!
