It's my turn to add to this thread unfortunately. Received my latest and perhaps last sub with CGC this afternoon.

I'll be honest. I never thought this would happen to me. It's like getting punched in the gut over and over again every time I look at this book.

My excitement immediately turned into horror.

How was this able to pass quality control? How is this even allowed to happen?  These tears were not present prior to being shipped off to CGC. You can see the fresh paper ring around the tear. Looks like it was possibly caught on the Mylar as it was being rushed out. Same goes with the bottom FC and BC issues.

I was planning on getting the resto removed and resubbing for universal label, but now I'm thinking this may not be a good idea as there is no guarantee this won't happen again.

The sad part is that the person who did it is either blind or dishonest. They didn't say a word ... which is really par for the course for this kind of stuff that happens over there. Round of applause for our once beloved CGC condoning dishonesty in their employees.

Prediction: CGC will contact you and offer some kind of bribe resolution, with the condition that you never speak of this again.

Let's add 100%  "incompetent " in there. Like I've said in previous comments. Someone needs their walking papers.

And on the flip side though. Always take scans front and back covers before submitting.  Make notes of any specific issues also.

Submit your books for pressing now!!! We have continued to improve our turnaround times significantly for #CCS Pressing services. Effective today, the turnaround time for Modern Pressing has been pressed down to only 20 days, with Modern Fast Track being reduced to only 9 days! Economy Pressing has also been cut down to 35 days with Economy Fast Track now taking only 5 days!

@CGC Mike looks like someone has fiddled with the mechanical error on the website.  I can no longer fill it out as it won't let me change my country (locked to USA).  I think this was brought up a week or so ago as well.  Emailed CS with the details as well but figured you fix more things then everyone else so get on it

Can move books through the system pretty fast when you don’t take the time to actually press them.

2. No one respects or cares for anything they didn't pay for themselves.

Anyone know what these spots are on the edge of the slab?  They can only seen head on, they don’t show up from side angles, about half of the 100 slabs I just got back have this going on.

It’s inside the slab, wondering if it wasn’t sealed there, but the slab doesn’t seem to be lose there.

I think it's a thing with the sonic weld not fully welding. I've had a few in the past and was told they won't fix them for free.

Im reviewing the books again and about 75% of them have this issue.....
