Hi RMA. :hi:

This is supposed to be a quote from me?

That's funny because I have literally never said this or anything remotely like this.

I am very impressed by this sale. I shared this here because I know most don't venture into the specific threads and felt it was a good discussion topic

Not sure why so many dismiss this sale. Lot of people out there make a lot of $$. Some park that $ into comics, or other things. Some blow this much daily at Casinos. Dell'Otto is PRETTY popular now. I believe the sale, I haven't seen many offered at all in 2-3 yrs.

I wish I could find that Sandman #8 Editorial Thread where you (basically) refused to acknowledge the existence of any copy that wasn't on the census. :baiting:;)

It's not meant to be a direct quote from you, but you have constantly displayed that mentality.

I think my favourite was when you trashed the Lucifer (TV show) thread.

Anyway, back on topic...

One or two sales doesn't make a book "worth" something.

The purported sales of the occasional high grade ASM 667 variant are so sparse as to be anecdotal, at best.

I wish he would come back and post. :(

He can't or he won't?

He won't as he's on his final strike. One more and he's been told he would be banned

So he banned himself before the actual ban?

Or is he waiting until the strike meter resets?

(tsk) Of course I am! Everybody except Jaydogrules is RMA, even you.

Now get back in my head... er, his head... um, our head. We're not letting you out again, troublemaker.

Hopefully the latter. :wishluck:

:roflmao: Even though nothing they have ever said or predicted about the book has ever been correct (or perhaps because of that), the level of angst this one book causes a small but loud clique of people on these boards will never cease to amuse and amaze me (even if three of them are all actually one person). lol

This artificial rarity created with variants boggles my mind.

Newsstand and 35 cent 'variants' boggle my mind.

Jerome

Paying silly money for 9.8 modern slabs like the Saga 1 in your sig line boggle my mind.

"What I collect rules, what you collect drools."

You said that, not me. While I don't see why people collect that, it's not my place to judge. I say collect whatever you want, its your money, just have fun doing it (thumbs u

Ok, c'mon now... common sense needs to prevail.

If this person paid $9,000 USD for a modern comic book and

he/she has the money to waste then good on them.

$9,000 is a large sum of cash to many people and there are

infinitely better things that $9,000 can be used for.

This person is at the end of the line for passing the hot potato.

If he/she did it for investment purposes. It is one of the worst decisions

they could have made.
