I raised this to many CGC Rep's a couple of months back, and they said it would be resolved soon.  @CGC Mike - Why are we only limited to 10-15 books prior to being locked out?

Many of us are looking at tons of slabs for a large purchase, and need this info readily available.  Why offer something 'Free' to paying customers if its not always available?

I'll check into this tomorrow.

The actual barcode contains much more information than just the cert#.

I admit QR will replace barcodes like email replaced fax machines - but it's pretty much the same thing.

Wow.  I feel incredibly stupid for not thinking I could just scan the corresponding barcode.  I mean, I don't intend to buy a barcode scanner or any required apps, but guess it's good to know that's an option.  :tonofbricks:

Uhh, I actually wouldn't mind if they used QR codes instead of certification numbers.  Just put the QR code on the back.

Another great feature of the CBCS labels/cases.

So if I don't have a membership, and not have access to their notes, then buying a CGC graded book after the change is almost like buying a book from PGX?

Or like buying a box of chocolates!

There are 10 kinds of people in the world; those who understand binary notation, and those who do not.
