Popular Post zzutak Posted September 29, 2022 Popular Post Share Posted September 29, 2022 My August 2021 Economy submission is finally back in hand. Here are the vital stats: 2021-08-24: Accepted by USPS 2021-08-26: Delivered to CGC 2021-08-27: Delivery Confirmed by CGC 2021-09-30: Status Marked "Received" 2021-09-30: Status Marked "Scheduled for Grading" 2022-08-17: Status Marked "Grading/Encapsulation/Imaging" 2022-09-22: Status Marked "Shipped" (if there was ever a status change to "Quality Control" it only remained there for a few hours, at most) 2022-09-28: Delivered to Me (via USPS Registered Mail, which is what I selected on the August 2021 submission form) That's exactly 400 calendar days from raw-in-hand to encapsulated-in-hand for anyone who's counting. As a reminder, CGC's "estimated" TAT on the day I entered into this "contract" with them was 150 business days (roughly 6.8 calendar months, at 22 bus-days/month). In my book, any "estimate" that differs from actuality by a factor of two does not qualify as an estimate (or even an educated guess). It's a fail -- a complete whiff. On a positive note, a visual inspection of the encapsulated books and a review of the associated Grader Notes reveals that the books are in exactly the same condition today as they were on August 24, 2021. In other words, the books were all handled with appropriate and sufficient care.  Furthermore, the labels are 100% correct and the books all look fantastic in their holders.      musicmeta, toro, Frederic9494 and 4 others 6 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
