One half of the latest display with poor nighttime lighting.  Some new additions, some likely departures. 

 

A New Mutants?!?!  I spent 30 minutes getting some tape residue off that sucker the other day from this beaten box I've kept bastardized in attics and the like. Let my people go!  My junior high comics don't deserve this abuse.  I pulled out some editions when I was reminded of the great Sienkiewicz covers and damn if they don't look O.K despite the treatment.

45 minutes removing tape and cleaning a 2 dollar low midgrade comic, I know this does not make sense

Here's a few new pickups this week. A few more steps towards the process of entubing sexy dames.

1) Thirst trap them by the vacuum tube powered jukebox with your Thrilling Love


2) Next get them back to your lab to see your test tubes and allure them in with your Amazing Stories

Here's 3x Fantastic Adventures. I love the covers on these books and they are pretty reasonable when I find them in the wild.
But they are very limited in interior art. I predict myself upgrading the first book here. What an image.
And not to disrespect The Batman. But he doesn't fly actual bats the size of B29 bombers. Just saying.

The Pulp Era, a fanzine from 67 I picked up from a bookstore a while back that I'm finally getting around to reading.  A number of articles, some voter polls, and some what I assume is original art.

That used to be true but I seldom even see these in the wild anymore. The dog cover is quite striking and is in pretty high demand right now. I sure wish I had all the copies back that I sold over the years…
