You see a faint Bonnett's store stamp above and over the brain.  Bonnet's was completely unable to grasp the concept of "small" store stamp.

I added two issues of Amazing Stories. I have a few latter ones in the digest format but none earlier than 1950 until now.

First up the December 1939 issue with a cover by Julian Krupa, and the hidden gem inside in the "Hok Goes to Atlantis" yarn by Wellman.

Next is the February 1941 issue, where the back cover rivals the front cover.

I kind of like that the legs take center stage for once

So nice they used it twice (this November ish the later printing, lots of that going on at FH towards the end)

Definitely a lot of great good girl covers in Lariat, and where there's all that rope there's bound be be bondage. And cattle rustlers have branding irons, too :O

The bad guys are always missing a tooth, just like me :'(

Half the time, when they aren't tied up, they look like they could be (this is one of my faves from the title)

I looked in my files, and I have a lone issue, not sure if it came in a lot or if I was lured by the black silk.  Usually I like a little more life left in a broad.  There's a few good covers where the girl features as a headstrong heroine.  This is not one of them.

Lariat's an outlier in terms of prices for a late-era Westerns, but it's not too hard to see why

Living in the South, I never find pulps in the wild.  If I am lucky, maybe some nice slicks in the right flea market or antique mall but never pulps.  Gumshoe work hasn't paid off for me in years 😪

Living in the “big city”, we have big flea markets most every weekend. But old comics and pulps have pretty much dried up. But you never know when and why I still go.

Any day that you can pick up something as cool as a “nickel weekly” tends to be a good day.

Keep going! Now that you’ve gotten a taste… they’re so affordable. They give some of the best “pop” for your pulp dollar. Thank goodness those old-time science fiction fans treasured them and saved at a rate sufficient to keep prices comparatively low today.
