Tough sledding here in Ottawa... two ads on Kijiji (craigslist) in two days for stacks of low grade Silver. I answered the first 45 minutes after it was posted, and got an email 4 hours later that they were sold. I didn't catch last night's ad until 3 hours after it was posted, and the ad is already gone this morning.

 

Anyone care to share the notification software they use?

Just search CraigsList Alert. I have used a couple and some work better than others.

Kijiji has become useless.

 

I responded to a bunch of comic ads earlier this week. the listings were no more than 24 hours old.

 

of the 8 ads I replied to... I got 2 responses within 24 hours (1 of which didn't even answer my question)

 

4 days later, another person responded saying the books sold... (At least he apologized for being bad with responding)

 

no replies from the rest....

If you got that at McKays you deserve to find those. The one close to where I live is pretty disorganized. I've found a few nice copies on the cheap, and I actually know a guy that found an ASM 300 in there, but a score is a score! :thumbsup:

It's pretty disorganized at the Nashville location too. 99.99% junk, but find stuff like this occasionally. Found a midgrade X-Men 266 for 50 cents, Detective 880 for $2, Second Stage Turbine Blade 1 for 50 cents, ASM 36 (9/11 cover) for $2. Stuff like that. Nothing huge, but still nice.

Yep! I only go out there once every few months. There are quite a few people that check it regularly after that ASM 300 came out of there. Happy hunting!
