Interesting, but I was too old for these when they first came out, so if I collect them now then I can't even use nostalgia as an excuse.  I'm just a 40 year old dude buying action figures.

I'm so used to lying about that. Once when I was much younger the girl at the counter actually asked me if I felt childish buying this stuff (it was for the new Star Wars movie at the time, one of the prequels). My girlfriend was with me, and she got mad and spoke up, saying (paraphrasing slightly) 'excuse me, he's got a girlfriend who completely supports what he collects. We're both happy, unlike you. Now ring up our mess and do it quietly, person_without_enough_empathy.' 

I'd never heard her speak like that. I was just silent in awe.

Thank you. Yes it is. Red card mail away versions. I believe Scarlett was part of a 3 set from the mail away version. Snake-Eyes and Stalker were the other 2, which are harder to find.

Just got in my Mego 12 inch Spiderman yesterday - I had this figure as a kid and always wanted to get another.  This figure is in excellent condition with really no wear on the costume.  I'm going to get a repro box for Spidey soon before I display him on my desk.

I also had the Mego Hulk and Captain America so I'll probably track those figures down as well.  This was around 1979 when I was 4 years old. There is a photo of myself with the Mego figures when I was a kid that I have to find at my parents house so I can post it.

I have a few of these “mucking about” myself. Mego put out the greatest toys in the 70s.

As a side note, my Red Hulk showed up today and I also picked up a High Evolutionary because “why not?”.
