Finally got around to finishing this project. It whitened up real nice. Makes me feel bad I just had it in a dusty box for a couple years. Crusader is probably up there as a top ten vehicle for me.

I like the idea of "Joe in space" or what it would seem, and I haven't seen much like that...

Cool!

Any questions... feel free to ask

Any idea whether they made these pressure-injection or just vacuum chambered resins?  I have a hard time believing they'd produce metal molds for limited production.  And the fact they probably don't have the rights to create anything other than "art objects".

I'm not a big Lego fan, but we recently took the kids to Legoland and there were some cool things. They had these Lego torches/sconces all over the place. Not being a Lego guy, I did some quick searching, but couldn't find a kit for this. Is there a good Lego source to find instructions for something like this? Thanks!

If these were Ryan's, I'm pretty sure he used to use silicon molds. It looks like his stuff, but I thought he was out of it all, and frankly, a lot of these look alike anyway.

The Crusader is amazing.  Also one of my favs from the entire line.

It gets overlooked because of the Defiant.  But combining the Defiant and the Night Raven = Oh Yeah!

I don't mind the different color scheme either. I think it's pretty rad. Only change I didn't like was the top where the pilots are, how it doesn't have the hinge mechanism. It feels more realistic on the defiant, but I'm sure they probably had a bunch break.

The other 3 Super 7 Ultimates TMNT Turtles arrived. All look pretty good, but there was a bit of a case of 'seen one, seen them all.' My Michelangelo has pretty sloppy paint on the alt-head, which is really disappointing for the price point. Luckily it's not one I'd have used anyway. Ditto Raphael's heads. They're a lot cleaner than Mikey's, but still not up to par for the price point on them (and woefully inadequate considering Super7 has said they may be increasing the price of the line to $75USD for normal size figures, that's outrageous).

Apparently the Metalhead is a piece of junk from them, so he's off the drawing board, so now I'm just waiting for Ray Fillet to come into stock and I've got everyone I want. I do want an IDW line, but not from Super 7, if all these QC stories I've read about their stuff are true. Very worrying.

With stores doing their spring resets, there have been a lot of great prices out there, leading to a plastic avalanche at the FFF household.

First deep discount, then Target had 25% off MoTU with Amazon randomly price matching; then more Target and Best Buy clearance. It adds up to a lot of good deals. And there’s more on the way.

I was able to complete MoTU Origins Wave 7 and Masterverse Wave 3 in one fell swoop at a great price, plus lots of other cool stuff. I like to say I only collect vintage, but that’s pretty clearly a big fat lie!
