I was pretty impressed with the 4.0 cr/ow Flash Comics #2 selling for over $22,000.

Just last year Heritage auctioned off a 9.2 for $32,400...

Indeed. One of the better deals I’ve seen. Classic issue, congrats! And you only had to pay an extra $560. for the privilege.

Beautiful copy! I’m glad to see this book is finally getting some love-there will probably even more demand for it Hawkman’s movie debut in Black Adam goes well.

A nice increase over the sale a year ago when it was hammered down at $7800, but also $3K less than the lower graded Promise copy with a less intense color strike.

Sorry, I've been away from my desktop all day.  

To my arguably peculiar way of thinking 8.5 and up is high grade although I've been known to say that an "8.0 is high grade in training" based on the crack>press>repeat principle of grading.

They're all great covers in a couple of respects, but my preferences are with several of the other PL covers, #23 being next to last.  And you're right, some lucky buyer is undoubtably feeling very happy. 

That said, I'm surprised there hasn't been a poll taken of favorites. It would probably run the gamut, ...and I'd wager #17 still takes top spot for most folks.

I feel your pain after selling something similar to this in the early aughts for a few hundred.

I usually avoid books I’ve had for a few hundred dollars in the past, but this one is an exception. I ponied up for a Cap 74 in a recent auction

The Flash #1 that everyone is saying is so rare now...the 1.8 that went for $84,000...I never thought it was overly rare.  Gerber 6 I think.  But that's why I only collect GA comics.  Huge potential.  I sold my 5.0 copy 6 years ago for $34K.

But...I'm not kicking myself.  I still have my best comic...that I've caught some heat for saying I think it's worth 10X the past going-rate.  I based my opinion by what sports cards are going for...and now GA key comics are following suit.
