Subby1938
With signatures on cover I dislike when the sigs are on top of the graphics . If they are along the black border ( which is very uncommon ) that’s nice but I think being inside keeps the cover appeal at a maximum and adds that special factor knowing they are inside . So I like inner more but wouldn’t pay extra for that sorrenmj

But, but, if I could get my hands on a #1 with dual interior sigs I would pay much more than if it were a yellow label without. Love sigs inside, regardless of book. At the moment it suggests it’s a true second print and could be seen as misleading. Updating it as they have isn’t clear enough, especially if the highest bidder placed their bid before the update. If it was me I’d pull the listing and start again making it clear it’s the free reproduction that came with a visual book. There’s no way someone is spending over $1,000 for a reprint of a second printing. This will most likely double or triple by tomorrow’s end of auction. It’s over $1200 now and ending in 9 hours. I can’t watch. sorrenmj

Subby1938
What that would do for 8.5,9,9.2,9.4,9.6 would be mind boggling . Over night those grades could double in value

Original asking price was $7500. It was a very quick offer and deal. Congrats to both seller and buyer. The other mentioned SS copy has a starting bid at $6999 but no 'make offer' so it's just sitting there. There's a joker with one at $15000 but this doesn't seem to be intended to drive traffic as its the only thing they have for sale. I guess we will be looking at that for a long time to come as we have reached a plateau with the 9.8's ($5k-$6k). I also see a lot of mid grades for sale that are collecting dust unless priced 15-20% lower than the competition. Thats the sweet spot where they are selling well and fast. So lots of demand still for Rapheal #1 with a healthy supply, but buyers are not getting suckered; they're taking their time to get the right book for the right price. sorrenmj and Icculus308win
