I've been super-excited for these to show up. The Afterlife with Archie cover is from issue #8 by Andrew Pepoy, but it's unpublished. After talking with Andrew about it, he said that Archie Comics approved it and even went so far as to color and solicit the book, but pulled the cover at the last second (the color cover is available to view online). I'm guessing they got worried seeing Zombie Veronica holding Archie and Jughead's severed heads. lol

The other one is the cover to Sabrina the Teenage Witch #3 from 1971 by Dan DeCarlo and from the collection of Tom DeFalco. The original artwork is just the art, I attached it to a reproduction blueline board with Sabrina masthead. I got into an auction knife-fight on this one with another bidder, we just kept stabbing away with minimum bid increases and finally I was victorious. I could not resist the PCH style that DeCarlo drew that skeleton in. I just dig it.

They are MASSIVE in size. The Pepoy piece is 14"x22" and the DeCarlo is 13.75"x13.25" - they just dwarf my 11x17 pieces.

Love that Afterlife with Archie. Was tempted to go after it myself but have a couple of things on the horizon I need to hold out for. Congrats!

Wonderful commission piece picked up at this year's Baltimore CC. I have always loved Bill Morrison's work on Simpsons books. This 11 x 17 ish piece reproduces one of Bill's iconic covers, but with a few of my own choices for which books each of the characters takes as their loot.

I picked up a 2011 DPS from Green Lantern Corps by Kirkham and Banning. They both happened to be at the convention, so here's a photo of them with their work. Banning is the one on the left, and Kirkham on the right. Can anyone tell whose booth was right beside Banning's?

I picked up a neat Al Rio Lady Death commission from Dueling Art Dealers two weeks ago. I love the detail and the atmosphere of the background in this piece.

Really active member in the community (He's around on most of the youtube live shows and on CAF, but not here) known mostly for being the most prolific commenter on CAF, leaves nice comments on most of the new pieces that get uploaded everyday

I have two hobbies: collecting OA and coding apps. And in app development, they say build products you’ll use so you always have a happy customer. Well, this was definitely true a few weeks ago because Nerd Crawler (nerdcrawler.com) sent me alert for a new Paul Smith art drop, and I was able to score this grail Colossus x Kitty x Lockheed piece!

While at the Baltimore Comic Con with Kathy, I, quite unexpectedly, found myself in line for an Alan Davis sketch. 

I had two sketchbooks:
* Sheldon Mayer related characters 
* Artist’s Choice

After some debate, (GA DC characters by Alan does have some appeal), I went with the Artist’s Choice. In that book, I let them draw whatever they want (PG-13 or less) and they have to write why they drew that on the back.
