I have a lead on this book, which is slabbed by the other guys as a 7.0. I know there are only 11 on the CGC census, but is it a difficult book to find, let alone in high grade? I've been told by the seller it is, but I'm not convinced.  Apologies for the poopy pic.

There are probably others that can better speak to the true rarity of this one but I’ve owned 2 copies. Here’s the one I still have.

This is an extremely self selected groip who looks for these books, so if a few of us have them it doesn't mean much in terms of availability . . .

Yeh.  Independent of pricing, any Fox romance 7.0 or better is worth buying.  True for the investor, doubly true for the collector.

But of course nothing is independent of pricing.

Btw, on the subject. Heres an fyi

Inaflash has a sales thread on the boards in which he has a ped high grade fox romance.

My Life 6, 9.0. One of the top 20 fox romance imho. He wants a pretty penny but it's worth it - meaning it would go for his ask or probably more at auction.

I take that this one seems to be pretty rare. Only took me 4 years to find a copy, and I hadn’t seen any for sale prior!

My Secret Story #29

Last issue in the run and beautiful reverse night sky cover.

Great colors on your copy. Here are mine. The reverse background colors are cool, must be a secret story behind that.
Maybe saving on black ink or thinking it won’t stand out on the newsstand? Seems none of the blue beetle, phantom lady or all-top titles in this late ‘40s era had a primarily black background.

Yes, there is.

But it’s MY Secret Story!

Did you think it was yours?

Only six census copies.  CGC notes the cover art by "Vernon Henkel and Warren Broderick".  I had always been under the impression that it was Wally Wood.  (shrug)

I guess I'll have to remove the posting in the Wood Thread...

Any of those graded copies should look better than this one (even the Canadian one).

Another "Pop" Hollinger rebuilt comic, by the looks of it.
